The Hera Community meeting and Hera Science Operations Working Group meeting will take place on April 24th-25th at ESTEC (Noordwijk, the Netherlands).

Hera spacecraft testing is ongoing in preparation for launch, with the launch window opening on October 7th 2024.

In other words, this year's Hera International Workshop will be the last one before the probe leaves to Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA), for take-off at the JFK Space Centre. 

The Hera meetings will focus on the final preparation of the mission in terms of operations and data analysis (Science Operations Working Group/SOWG) and of the status of mission preparations by ground-based observations, impact experiments and modelling, asteroid dynamics and physical properties (community meeting), based on the plethora of results from DART, LICIACube and Earth based observations.
