The 4th edition of the Space Days to take place on September 26th – 27th in Liege, Belgium, is organized by the professional association Wallonie Espace gathering industrialists and scientists of the space sector in Wallonia and which SPACEBEL has the honour to chair.
Including conferences, thematic presentations and B2B meetings, this biennial event aims, on the one hand, to encourage contacts between the international actors of the sector and, on the other hand, to identify new scientific and technological opportunities in the space sector. Beyond the professional component, the Space Days also include a public awareness programme meant for young people in particular.
It is the very current theme of Earth observation that has been chosen for the Space Days 2012. Several VIPs of the space world will be among the guests of honour to take the floor.
As an active member of the Steering Committee of the Space Days 2012, SPACEBEL will present its activities in the field of Earth observation through various workshops.
