In order to support our growth in a fast moving sector, we are looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to join our "Quality Management" team. The vacancy concerns our premises in Hoeilaart (Brussels periphery).

The Quality Management team provides support to the Project teams in order to ensure that customer’s requirements (ESA, CNES, …) are met. Its works independently from the projects verifying compliance to Product Assurance (PA) requirements.

Under the responsibility of the Quality Manager, you will work on a variety of projects together with many different colleagues, in a stimulating and constantly evolving technological environment and be involved in the implementation of the project PA Plans. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Contributing to the formalisation and maintenance of company processes.
Supporting projects in the definition and implementation of product assurance plans in critical software developments.
Being the main point of contact of the customer’s product assurance engineer.
Contributing to the selection, testing and deployment of tools used in support to the software development processes, including the Software Factory/DevOps aspects.

You hold a higher degree (bachelor or master) in computer science.
You have a good understanding of software development processes and configuration management.
You have some knowledge in Software Product Assurance.
A sound level of technical English is essential, both for reading technical documents and for drafting documentation.
You are familiar with the Linux environment.
Knowledge of tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Eclipse, Docker, SonarQube ... is a real asset.
You are curious and open to novelties and technological changes.
You are service-oriented and willing to listen and respond to your colleagues’ needs.
You are reliable and committed, in short, someone we can count on.

Product Assurance Engineer

Om onze groei in een snel evoluerende sector te ondersteunen, zijn we op zoek naar Product Assurance Engineer ter versterking van ons "Quality Management" team. Je gaat aan de slag op onze zetel in Hoeilaart (Brusselse rand).

Het Quality Management team ondersteunt de projectteams om erover te waken dat aan de eisen van de klant (ESA, CNES, ...) wordt voldaan. Het staat los van de projecten en controleert de naleving van de Product Assurance (PA) eisen.

Onder de verantwoordelijkheid van de Quality Manager werk je samen met tal van collega's op verschillende projecten in een stimulerende en voortdurend veranderende technologische omgeving en ben je betrokken bij de uitvoering van de PA-plannen van het project. Je taak bestaat er in de eerste plaats in te helpen bij de optimalisatie van tools ter ondersteuning van de softwareontwikkelings-, test- en configuratiebeheerprocessen, met inbegrip van de Software Factory/DevSecOps-aspecten:

Definitie van behoeften en keuze van tools;
Opzet en configuratie van pilootprojecten voorafgaand aan de productie;
Opstellen van gebruikersdocumentatie (in het Engels);
Optimalisering en onderhoud van bestaande tools.

Je bent in het bezit van een hoger diploma (bachelor of master) in informatica.
Je hebt een goed begrip van softwareontwikkelingsprocessen en configuratiebeheer.
Je hebt wat kennis van Software Product Assurance.
Een degelijk niveau van technisch Engels is essentieel, zowel voor het lezen van technische documenten als voor het opstellen van documentatie.
Je bent vertrouwd met de Linux-omgeving.
Kennis van tools zoals GitLab, Jenkins, Eclipse, Docker, SonarQube, ... is een ware troef.
Je bent leergierig en staat open voor nieuwigheden en technologische veranderingen.
Je bent servicegericht en bereid om te luisteren naar en in te spelen op de behoeften van je collega's.
