For our Flight Segment business unit based in Liège,
we are looking for software engineers to join our team in
charge of the development of satellite on-board software.
YOUR TASKS
You will be part of a development team in charge of
the realization of embedded real-time software projects
from start to finish. Your work will span over the whole
software development lifecycle and encompass engineering,
production and testing tasks.
You will develop software using UML and C programming
languages in a cross compiling environment for real-time
targets, according to space software standards and in-house
quality procedures.
You will work in an international environment, and in
some cases you will have to travel for short periods to
meet customers, partners or subcontractors.
YOUR PROFILE
You
have a university degree in computer science or in software
engineering with one to three years experience in real-time
embedded software development.
You
have a strong background with the C programming language
and with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks and/or
RTEMS as well as with the Linux environment. You are familiar
with formal software development methods and modeling
languages and tools such as UML and Rhapsody.
You
are curious, a problem solver with an analytical and synthetic
mind. You define yourself as rigorous and result-oriented
with good organization skills. You are a team player but
you are also able to take responsibilities and to work
autonomously.
You
preferably are a native French speaker and have very good
mastering of written and spoken English.
