DA VINCI is active since several years in the environment monitoring, and more particularly in the fields of disaster management (flood, subsidence, oil spill, …).

Affected by water runoff, phases of freezing and thawing, tremors of the earth's crust and mining activities, the earth's surface is constantly observed by satellites. Thanks to geographic data processing systems (GIS), DA VINCI can exactly determine which areas are at risk. In the event of major incidents (earthquakes, landslips or collapses), DA VINCI can produce cartographic documents of the disaster area.
